Who are the teachers of our faith?
WE ARE!
Through the love of our Father, all of us are called to pass on our faith. We are the Church! The family, the priest, and the congregation all work together to bring the light, love, and promises of Christ to life.
God's love is first communicated in the home, through the witness and example of parents. We are committed to working with you to reinforce the teachings of our faith. Our wonderful volunteer catechists have answered the call from Christ to pass on the faith by building on the solid foundation you began at home.

First Reconciliation
&
First Holy Communion

As Catholics, our unity with Christ is maintained and strengthened through our participation in Mass and the sacraments. As we celebrate the sacraments, we remember Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. When our Children receive Christ's gift of forgiveness through the sacrament of Reconciliation and the the gift of Christ Himself in First Holy Communion, it strengthens our own faith and brings us closer to God and each other.

Baptized children are prepared in 2nd grade to celebrate these two sacraments as part of our religious education program.

Parents of older children who need to prepare for these sacraments should call Father Pete at (920) 563-3029, ext. 1101, or email frpete@stjosephfort.org.
